So Babe. What do you wanna do for Mothers Day? To see Captain America Civil War – what else??!!
There was nothing else I wanted. Okay well besides coffee, a clean house and a bit of silence this movie was the only thing I wanted to do outside my home on Mother’s Day. Marvel’s Captain America Civil War. THIS was Top on my list of Must See and Must Do for Mother’s Day. I knew I wouldn’t get any arguments or complaints since my entire family loves all things Marvel. Like seriously. We love it.
My son’s room is Avengers from the ceiling to the floor, we have all the movies on DVD/Digital, I think my tablet and phone have every Marvel Game App out there (for my Kiddies of course) PLUS you can quiz any of us on the backgrounds, powers, traits or family history of our fave heroes or villains and we could give you a run for your money. I even published a Marvel Hero Quiz for BlogHer with my family’s help and it was a hit! Let’s just say we are that family who has the Premier dates for all the upcoming Marvel movies marked on the household calendar, set in our phones and running through our Facebook feeds. We don’t play. I even dress the part for each movie…
After my Mother’s Day breakfast and gifts I grabbed my phone and used my trusty Fandango App to buy our 6 tickets for Captain America Civil War 3D. The rest of the day was just a waiting period for when the movie started!
Now I don’t want to give any spoilers for those of you who haven’t gotten to the theater yet BUT I can share this awesome clip
The battle between #TeamIronMan and #TeamCap is epic. I found myself switching sides during the movie, wondering why there had to be sides at all, rooting for both sides and forgetting what side I was on all together!
From the start of the movie I knew I was hooked. My rule for most movies is grab me in the first 5 minutes or I’m pretty much done. Well Captain America Civil War does that. I was double checking character plots with my Hubby, asking why this guy was here, where were these guys and more! There was no doubt: I was completely engaged.
This movie brings back Captain America and IronMan along with some of our favorite Avenger characters including Black Widow, Hawkeye, Falcon, War Machine, Scarlet Witch, Winter Soldier and Vision but it also introduces a few new characters that are destined to make the Avengers franchise bigger and better.
Black Panther is Protector of Wakanda and his story is one I can’t wait to explore more of once his feature movie is released.
We also get a visit from Spiderman when he gets hand-picked by Tony Stark to help round out the ranks of #TeamIronman.
Captain America brings in his own team member boost when he recruits AntMan to bring a little help to #TeamCap in a big way.
Again, I said no spoilers but this is definitely a movie you don’t want to miss!
In this humble Marvel Fanatics opinion Captain America Civil War is a Must See! Not only will you be happily entertained but your inner comic fan will get a glimpse of what Marvel has in store with new characters, old favorites and what’s to come. So stop sitting here…go get that ticket and see Captain America Civil War!
