Happy New Year!! 2018 is here and I’m so excited for what’s to come especially when it comes to movies!! Hollywood has lined up some of their best films from family fun to action January is going to be a great month for great must see movies!

Proud Mary

I know we all see Taraji P. Henson and instantly think of Empire because let’s face it the Cookie and Lucious dram is pretty addictive. Yet I also remember Taraji in action shows and movies like Person of Interest where she showed that she could not only wear a badge but kick some bad guy bootie as well. So when I saw the trailer for Proud Mary come across my TV screen I was not only excited but supper happy to see her strap on her action boots once again.

The Commuter

Okay. I know. Ever since Taken Liam Neeson always seems to be rescuing someone, from somewhere using just about any kind of something he has handy. Still – he does it well and no matter how many times I tell myself this is the same movie with a new title I always watch. So I know as that first scene from The Commuter flashes across the screen I’ll be right there – waiting to see him save the day – again!

Paddington 2

Family movie night is always a weekend we look forward to and this month is going to be a great one. If you haven’t fallen in love with marmalade loving bear named Paddington and his family The Browns then I suggest you watch that this weekend and then be ready to join in on their next adventure in Paddington 2.

January is starting to feel like a month of action and guess what? I’m okay with that! I love a great action movie that keeps me sitting right at the edge of my seat and Den of Thieves with Gerard Butler looks like just that kinda movie.

Maze Runner: The Death Cure

I must make a confession. I haven’t watched this series of movies since the very first one – which I loved. Somehow I lost track of them BUT my son and I have decided we are going to catch up and be sure we are ready for this one simply because it looks really good and we love the books!
