February has a good balance of movies for me and the Kiddies. I can tell we are going to have a few Momma Time Days, Family Fun Days and Date Nights for sure.

United Kingdom

This movie would most likely be one I see on my own or with a friend. I love historically based flicks and ones with a love story intertwined with it always make the top of my list. I’ve loved the skill of David Oyelowo since seeing him play Martin Luther King in SELMA and the strong-willed Louis in Lee Daniel’s The Butler. David Oyelowo definitely has a skill with studying and bringing the true essence of historical figure to the screen. I can’ wait to see how he portrays King Seretse Khama and his story.

John Wick: Chapter 2

For me, Keanu Reeves is ranked up there with Johnny Depp as one of my all time faves so seeing this is pretty much a no-brainer for me. I saw John Wick at least 3 times so I can’t wait to add Chapter 2 into my rotation. John Wick is the story of an assassin or hit man who after two major losses in his life decided to come out of retirement and return to what he does best.

The LEGO Batman Movie

Lego. Batman. Did I mention Batman? This is one of those movies we didn’t even need to see the trailer. The title alone has us buying our tickets and waiting for the release date.

Fist Fight

I love when I can add a movie to my list that is strictly for laughs.  That’s what Fist Fight with Ice Cube and Charlie Day is sure to be. I don’t need to think, cry or even concentrate too hard. Simply sit back relax and enjoy the laughs!
