June. The end of school and the start of summer vacation. That means more time for more movies. This month I have a few on my must see list that are just for me, for the family and for date night.

Mr. Rogers was my Grandmother’s built in babysitter for as long as I can remember. Whether she was studying for her latest class, sewing, cooking or simply keeping her sanity she knew sitting me in front of the TV with Mr. Rogers was happiness for both her and me. When I had my own son I loved seeing him fascinated by some of the same things I loved as a child. The Neighborhood Trolly and Daniel Tiger was one of our faves to watch together.
I think my childhood memories of watching Mr. Rogers welcome people of every kind into his neighborhood and my heart are part of why this movie is one I’ve picked just for me. I can’t wait to relive a few of those memories as I watch the story of a man who impacted so many children throughout his lifetime.

Jurassic World has been a fave in our home since the start so I don’t see that tradition stopping with this next installment. I’m excited tos ee where the story will go with Chris Pratt and even more excited to see Jeff Goldblum’s return.
