As promised I’m sharing the dirt on Dirty Whiskey Craft Cocktail Bar. That’s right, people Dirtbag Ales in Hope Mills – a local favorite spot for hanging out on the weekends, the weekdays with family, with friends – has once again stepped things up a bit with the addition of a new upscale adults-only space to their 6-acre property.

Designed to cater to the 21 and over crowd Dirty Whiskey Craft Cocktail Bar is a $1 annual membership lounge offering custom-crafted cocktails with locally sourced ingredients mixed to surprise and exceed your taste expectations.

The outdoor patio is massive and includes heaters, fans, a TV, a walk-up order window, and a mobile bar this space makes for the perfect date night, girl’s night, or even an event. With a high-end feel classic woodwork design of the bar and leather seated lounge area, the mood is set the moment you walk through the doors.

The drinks are definitely the focal point mixed with local liquors, in-house fusions, and spirits from surrounding North Carolina Distilleries. In true Dirtbag style, future plans include adding a greenhouse named – wait for it – Dirty Greens to bring in freshly grown garnishes and simple syrups to keep things good and dirty.

I had the chance to sample a few mocktails that’s right mocktails so even if you aren’t one for alcohol you can still enjoy a great evening and some pretty awesome tastes. My favorite was definitely the Peaches & Honey a unique blend of orange juice, peach juice, simple syrup, and peaches created by bartender Eric. The only thing missing was the Conviction Bourbon but if my mocktail was even a hint of true cocktail trust me you’ll want to give this sweet treat drink dedicated to the south a try.

Dirty Whiskey has not forgotten about your taste buds bringing in a North Carolina favorite Redneck BBQ Lab as a permanent addition to the location. Imagine pairing up your cocktails with the perfect bite from their legendary menu.

The official grand opening is set to happen at the end of August or early September with soft-opening events already marked on the calendar.
