#TunesdayTuesday – Random 5

We all need a little music in our lives. A good song can answer a question, soothe the soul and provide an escape. It can recall a memory in the most vivid detail and evoke the most intense feelings.

We created Tunesday Tuesday to do just that, bring people together through music.

 

Every Monday night at 9pm the link up will go live at The Patchwork Paisley, Drinking the Whole Bottle, StructureInAnUnstructuredLife, and MrsTeeLoveLifeLaughter. We will designate a theme, and hope that you will share a song that embodies said theme for you. Post the video for the song, an audio clip, the lyrics- however you want to do it. Then, write a little something about why this song captures the week’s theme and link up your post here with us!

So this week kinda snuck up on me because i had my themes a bit mixed up.  Yet this was actually a lot more fun because I got to select 5 songs instead of just one!  Since the theme is RANDOM I picked 5 songs from 5 different Playlist and made them into one.

Everything Is Awesome – from my Color Run Palylist. It is the ULTIMATE Hype song and is always able to get me energized and ready to Get It Done!

Landslide {Dixie Chicks} – I have always loved the Stevie Nicks version of this songs and the Dixie Chicks definitely honored her in the version of the song. It is all at once full of emotion and soothing at the same time.

Love Somebody {Maroon 5} – I just love Maroon 5 and Adam Levine’s voice is absolutely divine. Their songs never fail to take me to a better place.

We Remain {Christina Aguilera} – This song is from The Hunger Games soundtrack which is not only a movie I loved but a book series I was so happy to read as well. I love the empowerment and truth of this song and it is perfect for Katniss. She is faulted and right all at the same time.

Glitter In The Air {PINK} – I love Pink at all times and all songs. This is no exception. I love how PINK can express her every emotion throughout the different verses of a song.
