Holiday Movie Binge List For Streamers!

No Material Connection Disclosure

The holiday season is when my family can spend an entire weekend binge watching our favorite holiday movies! After we cut the chord to cable I decided to create my very own Holiday Movie Binge List for Streamers!

Netflix

Out of all the streaming services Netflix is still my favorite. For one monthly fee you get FREE access to thousands of movies! As I searched through the Holiday movies on Netflix I found a few of my faves from childhood, some really fun Netflix Originals and even a few I’d almost forgotten I loved.

Netflix Original Movies

Christmas Chronicles

Christmas Chronicles is a Brand New holiday movie produced and released by Netflix starring Kurt Russell, Darby Camp and Judah Lewis. This was one of the first holiday movies we watched this season and my Kiddies approved it almost immediately.

After accidentally crashing Santa’s sleigh, a brother and sister pull an all-nighter to save Christmas with a savvy, straight-talking St. Nick.

The Princess Switch

The Princess Switch has a familiar storyline: a regular everyday girl meets her rich look-alike and they decided to switch places. Starring Vanessa Hudgens , Sam Palladio and Nick Sagar this twist on a classic brings a bit of humor and a lot of great moments to the story.

When a down-to-earth Chicago baker and a soon-to-be princess discover they look like twins, they hatch a Christmastime plan to trade places.

The Holiday Calendar

The Holiday Calendar tells the story of a young woman who has lost confidence in who she is and who she wants to be. I will confess my initial motivation to watch this was Kat Graham and Ethan Peck’s Co-Star Quincy Brown son of the legendary Quincy Jones. He was well worth the watch but the story itself was very heart-warming and will definitely stay on my list of holiday movie binge picks!

A talented photographer stuck in a dead-end job inherits an antique Advent calendar that may be predicting the future — and pointing her toward love.

Family Favorites

The Christmas Project

The Christmas Project has been on my list for a few years because it just reminds me of what the true spirit of Christmas is supposed to be. Helping those who need it the most when they need it the most.

Four brothers prepare for war when they’re forced to deliver secret holiday gifts to the school bullies. But they soon learn kindness goes a long way.

How The Grinch Stole Christmas

How The Grinch Stole Christmas is one of the many movies we simply have to wach every single holiday. A mix of humor and holiday spirit I love to watch over and over again.

White Christmas (1954)

White Christmas starring Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye is a Christmas movie I can’t remember not watching during the holidays. It’s just part of my traditions and I’ve had such an amazing time passing it on and sharing it with my Kiddies.

HULU

Kids’ Picks

Tiny Christmas

Tiny Christmas is a movie my daughter picked that I’m a bit shocked I loved. Starring Riele Downs one of our faves from Henry Danger and The Gabby Douglas Story, Lizzy Greene and Graeme McComb this is a sure win for any family holiday movie night.

Prep & Landing | Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice

These two movies are both faves in my home because it’s the best blend of fun-filled holiday theme. When elves Wayne and Lanny get together you are sure to have plenty of laughs and a few of the feels as they make it through their Christmas adventures.

ELF: Buddy’s Musical Christmas

You’ll see the Original ELF in a bit but this animated musicla version featuring Buddy and his favorite holiday has become of my Kiddies must see picks throughout (code for daily) the holidays.

Holiday Classics

A Christmas Story

If you don’t watch A Christmas Story during the holidays I may need to review our friendship! Hahaha! No, seriously. This movie is one that we have to watch at least once as a family and I may or may not watch it a few times more on my own 😉

A Misers’ Brothers Christmas

A Misers’ Brothers Christmas is one of the movies from my childhood that signaled the start of the holidays. Once I saw that movie in the TVGuide (yep I’m that old) I knew it was nearly Christmas!

A Charlie Brown Christmas & It’s Christmas Again, Charlie Brown

Charlie Brown movies are a requirement for every Holiday from Halloween to Thanksgiving and of course Christmas!

Miracle On 34th Street

Confession: I used to want to be Susan Walker in Miracle on 34th Street! I loved her just that much. My youngest daughter shares my adoration and is my movie buddy for this pick on my binge list.

Romantic Faves

This Christmas

This Christmas takes the musical feel of some of my favorite classic Christmas movies and brings in a bit of soul and an awesome story line. Starring Idris Alba, Chris Brown, Lauren London, Columbus Short, Mekhi Pfeifer, Regina King, Loretta Devine, Delro Lindo, Sharon Leal and so many more this movie was made to become a classic!

The Holiday

The Holiday is perfect for a late night holiday movie with you and the Hubby or boyfriend. It’s a feel good romantic comedy with a happy ending worth waiting for.

PRIME Video

Sometimes I feel like the benefits of having Amazon Prime never end!  One of those benefits just happens to be PRIME Video. These are movies included with your Prime Membership. Thanks to Alexa I’ve been able to find a few of my hard to find holiday picks!

It’s A Wonderful Life

It’s A Wonderful Life is THE most classic of holiday movies and I think my Grandmother would disown me if I didn’t watch this during the holidays.

PAID Prime Video

Prime Video has two options for watching your favorite movies. Those included with a Prime Membership and those available to rent or purchase. For whatever reason Netflix and HULU often has part of a series of movies – I haven’t figured out why yet. Thankfully I can usually find the missing part on Prime Video for a pretty reasonable rental fee. Rentals are normally for 48 hours.

ELF – $2.99
